To change your personal details or if you need to change your name and address call PIP on 0345 850 3322. If you need to go into hospital or even a care home for a time more than 4 weeks then phone PIP about this as well. If you plan to go abroad for more than 13 weeks then you can use the PIP enquiry line to help you with this and if you have been imprisoned then you will also need to dial PIP on 0345 850 3322. If you have been overpaid benefits from PIP and you have not reported them by using the PIP enquiry line then you could face a £50 fine and suspension of your benefits. The PIP enquiry line is open between Monday and Friday and at 8am to 6pm.  You can also use the PIP text phone line on 0345 601 6677 if you are hard of hearing. You can use the NGT Relay service by dialling 18001 then 0345 850 3322.

DWP and PIP Claims: 0800 917 2222

Call DWP on 0800 917 2222 if you would like to make a new pension payment or if you would like to make a claim. Use the PIP contact number if you live in Scotland, England or Wales and you can also use the text phone service on 0800 917 7777. If you need help with your claim then you can also call PIP on 18001 then 0800 917 2222 to chat with them about your claim and why your money has not been paid yet. This number is only open for those who need a NGT relay service. Call 0800 917 2222 if you want to chat with them about your contact details, your date of birth or even your NI number. When you do call PIP on 0800 917 2222 you will need to list your bank details, your doctor’s name and any details of the time that you have spent abroad. It is more than possible for someone else to call on your behalf but you will need to be with them.
